Hello! I'm Jovanna Wilkins, the founder and educator behind Easy Peasy Tutoring. I am an experienced Special Education teacher, literacy interventionist, mentor, and lifelong learner with a deep passion for helping children grow academically and emotionally.
I hold a Master of Arts in Interrelated Special Education from Albany State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Northern Illinois University. Throughout my career in Chicago Public Schools, I have facilitated IEP meetings, provided targeted literacy interventions, designed differentiated instruction, coached teachers, and implemented balanced literacy practices to support diverse learners.
I founded Easy Peasy Tutoring to provide focused, individualized reading and writing support for students who benefit from a patient, structured, and joyful approach to learning. I specialize in breaking down complex literacy skills into clear, manageable steps so students can build confidence, independence, and a strong foundation for success.
